History: Reynard was born the youngest of three triplets. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Godfrey lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
