History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He became a Stableman soon after.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
