He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He bought a bastard sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, John will drive conversation. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Miller father left him crippled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
