Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Alex enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.
History: The child of a Beggar, who enjoyed hunting, Gilbert was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He's also a talented Beggar, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: To be a Beggar again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mason. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Geoffrey was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carpenter. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
