History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born in the west to a Cartwright, Shane learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
