History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Arnold's homeland. Arnold decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. History: Percival hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
