History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: Standing 5'7", this man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His black hair is singed and shortened. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His childhood dream was to be a Mayor, but he was a colossal failure. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Expand his business; and to be a mayor again

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: With white face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing grey cape and mantle trimmed with soft blue waves gently in the breeze. Sporting a golden mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in the south to a Shoemaker, Clerebold learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shoemaker.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
