Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Manfred is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Don reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hunter is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hunter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
