Dean Carlton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and he perpetually has his bow ready. He has moderate length golden hair. His eyes are a pleasant brown.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in bow use. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Dean Fidget, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Dean took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he seems to be bored by most things
Ideals: Persistence, Philantrophist. Flaws: Mundane. Bonds: Attractive, Nature, Religious. Occupation: Junk Dealer
Voice: Uses sign language

Drogo Digby, Male Human [Permalink]

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.
History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Drogo learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Thomas Denholm, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man stands a little under 5'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a brown coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. His hair is long and black with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Thomas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a deep hatred of drow
Ideals: Opinionated. Flaws: Insomniac, Antagonistic. Bonds: Immigrant, Enemies. Occupation: Gardener
Voice: Breathy voice
