History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Peter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He bought a mace and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
