History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Odo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Geoffrey hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Adam lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Adam was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Adam's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
