History: Diggory was born the youngest of three triplets. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.
