History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Miles grew up listening to his father's many stories. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and sabotage a competitor

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult.
