History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Guard. His chestnut hair is lengthy. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: Gilbert speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gilbert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the east to a Guard, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized red coat. His long brown hair reaches down to his waist. He has brown eyes and a red hat with a violet feather.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Anthony hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of goblins

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He carries a battered nunchaku and tarnished flail as well. With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: William was born with his father's beautiful face. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Being a Healer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to find somewhere to settle down
