History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Cook. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

History: Gerard was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world.
