History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Frederick was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: Charles was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Charles was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
