The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.
