Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. William was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: He got into the Gardener business at a young age. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has achieved small success as a Gardener.

Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tailor for the past few years.
