History: Randal was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to pay off his debts

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He got into the Shoemaker business at a young age. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He became a Shoemaker soon after.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he is greedy
