Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is dressed in a clean red cloak covering his clean studded leather. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He takes great joy in being the best Guard in town.
History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ernest fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a green coat with blue slacks. His chestnut hair is long and unkept. His eyes are green and beady.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He became a Shoemaker soon after.
Motivation: Human compassion; and expand his business

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy white stubble. He wears a white armored body suit, with a simple yellow line shooting up and back down. He has a hunchback. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his broad white hat.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a great chef.
History: Justin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miner, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He stands about 6'3" and dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are brown and catlike.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Don lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Cook, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
