History: Gifted from a young age, Charles studied abroad. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Charles's homeland. Charles decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears tattered old clothes. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to pay off his debts

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Peter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Peter was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
