History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.
