History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Dustin was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Dustin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
