He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born into a rich family. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Frederick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
