History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Manfred was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Justin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Detective born in the past three hundred years. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Richard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and to be a guard again

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears a grey coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a broad hat upon his head. His white hair is unkempt and raggedy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Jeweler again.
