History: Born in the west to a Shoemaker, Chad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Hubert's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has achieved small success as a Server.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Arnold was born the youngest of three triplets. One day when Arnold was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Arnold was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: Thomas hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Thomas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.
