History: Robert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent mother

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his singing dream.
