His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thomas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's also a talented Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with his Navigator mother left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Lewis and his spouse have recently divorced.
