His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Miles took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hammer and armor he uses now. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Hunter, but he got bored and became a Shepherd. Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Aldous enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a miller again

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the east to a Courier, Dean learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
