Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Gilbert reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Born in the north to a Seamstress, Miles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Description: He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'1" when asserting himself. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Norman embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: This man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He has a very tight haircut. He has gray eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Reynard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Reynard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Bowyer. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born in the west to a Bowyer, Lance learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He tends to his Bowyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
