History: He was born in a small plains village. Through the years after Kody was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Kody's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He comes from a rich western family. Frederick was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ruler. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
