History: Theobald was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His golden hair is greasy and uncared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Gerald was born with his father's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Simon is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
