Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
