History: Thomas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Aldous was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Aldous's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
