Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Patrick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing red cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. He has a very tight haircut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'11". He is dressed in an above average manner, and his gloved hand is found clutching a scythe. He has moderate length auburn hair. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and money/treasure

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many red ritualistic tattoos. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and further expansion of business
