History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Roland was born with his father's beautiful face. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
