There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Gerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Rolf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Rolf liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He became a Scribe soon after.

Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
