History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and an old rival family wants him found

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second son.
