History: Aldous lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He struck the Navigator job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to open a new tavern

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His first spouse was a Engraver, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sailor responsibilities is difficult; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
