When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Reynard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. A true patriot, Gunter would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When Gunter reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
