History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. Hugh enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Hugh has worked very hard to control his curse. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and balancing his hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult
