Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has achieved small success as a Engraver.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 8. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Gifted from a young age, Don studied abroad. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He tends to his Miller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His hair is black and curly. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Arnold took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He has never given up on his painting dream.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
