History: Conrad was born with his father's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Frederick lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Soapmaker. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Shane is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and to end his boredom

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Hugh's homeland. Hugh decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hugh never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Jeweler responsibilities is difficult; and doesn't want to be a jeweler and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He got into the Ploughman business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Spy, but he got bored and became a Ploughman. He's also a talented Spy, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.
