History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
