Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'2". He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat, and his gloved hand is found clutching a mace. His brown hair is braided into rings. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Theobald abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Roland was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and retire the richest man in the south
