History: Norman was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat, and is pretty ugly. He has moderate length auburn hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When Gilbert reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His silver hair and beard is wavy and long. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Balimaar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Balimaar has worked very hard to control his curse. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Detective. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Detective. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This man stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears an entirely red suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Patrick is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Patrick was born the youngest of three triplets. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to reunite with his old friends
