He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Trey never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
