Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Cory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

His green eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed black hat.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a yellow shirt with thin grey vertical stripes and pastel pants. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Gunter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Gunter took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.
