Description: This man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on his right hand. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length black hair. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was a Shepherd, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This exceptionally lanky man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His first spouse was a Tanner, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is greedy

Description: He wears a brown broad hat and brown clothes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'5" when asserting himself. His chestnut hair is long and unkept. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect his home

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He dresses like a well dressed Mercenary does. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a Herbalist, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Mercenary. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mercenary.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears a white vest and prefers pastel and red shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Everard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Everard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and an old rival family wants him found
