History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Adelard has worked very hard to control his curse. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Through the years after Theodoric was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Theodoric's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.
